General Terms and Conditions


1.1 The e-shop of the Estonian Maritime Museum deals with the sale of publications, clothing, reproductions, and souvenirs related to collections and exhibitions.

1.2 When purchasing from the Estonian Maritime Museum e-shop, the terms of this agreement, the e-shop product price list, and the rights and obligations arising from the laws of the Republic of Estonia apply.

Ordering Procedure


2.1 The customer selects the desired products, specifies the quantity, chooses the payment method, and selects the delivery method. Before finalizing the order, the customer can review and modify it. The customer then confirms the order by pressing the “Back to Merchant” button after payment. Otherwise, the order will not be activated. After confirming the payment, a confirmation notice is sent to the customer’s email address. Orders can be placed in Estonian or English.

Delivery of Products


3.1 Delivery Method

3.1.2 The ordered products are delivered to the customer by the Estonian Maritime Museum e-shop, operated by Sokisahtel OÜ (registration number 11894845).

3.2 Delivery methods for products:

3.2.1 Omniva/Itella parcel machine

– Ordered products reach the customer through an Omniva parcel machine within 2–4 working days from the confirmation of the order to the customer’s email address (excluding reproductions).

– Ordered reproductions reach the Omniva parcel machine within up to 7 calendar days (excluding custom orders, for which the completion time and suitable delivery method are agreed separately with the customer).

– The delivery fee for orders of 30 euros or more is 0 euros.

– The customer selects the nearest parcel machine from the list provided during the order.

– Upon reaching the parcel machine, the customer receives a notification on their mobile phone and email with information about the parcel machine’s location, opening hours, and a personalized door code. Entering the door code opens the parcel machine, and the customer can collect the ordered package. The order is held in the parcel machine for 7 calendar days from the message sent to the customer’s mobile phone and email. If the customer does not pick up the parcel within 7 calendar days, Omniva returns the parcel to the Estonian Maritime Museum. In this case, the Estonian Maritime Museum contacts the customer to confirm the pickup details. The order is canceled if no contact is made or an agreement is not reached. The amount paid for the order is refunded to the customer’s bank account, excluding reproductions and their custom orders. Ordered reproductions and their custom orders are non-refundable.

3.1.2 Estonian Maritime Museum shop

Collecting the package from the Maritime Museum shop is free. Ordered products, excluding reproductions, reach the customer’s selected museum shop on the next working day if the order is placed on a working day before 14:00. Orders placed after 14:00 will reach the desired museum shop on the second working day. Ordered reproductions reach the museum shop within 5 working days (excluding custom orders, for which the completion time and suitable delivery method are agreed separately with the customer). The customer receives a notification by email about the order’s arrival at the shop. The customer can pick up the order from the museum shop within 14 calendar days upon presentation of identification. If the customer has not picked up the order within 14 calendar days, the Estonian Maritime Museum contacts the customer to confirm the pickup details. If no contact is made or an agreement is not reached, the order is canceled (excluding reproductions). The amount paid for the order is refunded to the customer’s bank account, excluding reproductions and their custom orders. Ordered reproductions and their custom orders are non-refundable.

3.1.3 Ordering a package abroad

It is possible to order products from the Estonian Maritime Museum e-shop outside Estonia. To order abroad, select the appropriate destination from the list of countries. Depending on the country, it takes 7–30 working days for the shipment to arrive (excluding reproductions). Ordered reproductions reach the desired destination within 10–38 working days (excluding custom orders, for which the completion time and suitable delivery method are agreed separately with the customer).

3.2 The product must reach the customer intact and in sealed packaging. Report any transportation damage to the product immediately at .

Cancellation of the Order


4.1 The customer has the right to cancel the order within 14 calendar days from the day of receiving the product (excluding reproductions and Maritime Museum annual tickets, see point 4.7).

4.2 To cancel the order, the customer must submit a written withdrawal statement to the email address . The withdrawal statement must include the order number, the customer’s first and last name, the customer’s bank account number, and the account holder’s name.

4.3 If the customer cancels the order, the customer must immediately return the unused and undamaged products, but by 14 calendar days from the date of sending the withdrawal statement. The customer can return the products to the Estonian Maritime Museum shop or by mail to the address: Estonian Maritime Museum, Vesilennuki 1, 10415 Tallinn.

4.4 The Estonian Maritime Museum will refund the customer for the returned products and the delivery fee up to the amount paid by the customer, but not more than 2.49 + VAT. If the customer returns only part of the ordered products, the delivery fee will not be refunded. The Estonian Maritime Museum will refund the money within 3–14 calendar days after the returned product reaches the Estonian Maritime Museum. If the reason for the return is a defective product, the Estonian Maritime Museum will refund the shipping costs to the customer in full.

4.5 If the ordered product is used or damaged, the Estonian Maritime Museum has the right to demand compensation for damages up to the selling price of the product, depending on the decrease in the product’s value. The corresponding amount will be deducted from the amount refunded to the customer.

4.6 If the order is damaged during shipping, please contact the Estonian Maritime Museum’s webshop at .

4.7 The 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to reproductions and Maritime Museum annual tickets ordered by the customer, as the ordered products are made according to the customer’s personal preferences. For claims or questions, please write to the email address .

Submitting a Complaint


5.1 The customer has the right to file complaints about the product within the time frame specified by the laws of the Republic of Estonia by emailing the Estonian Maritime Museum at .

Customer Obligations


6.1 To successfully process the order, the customer is obligated to enter the correct and necessary information into the order form: first and last name, contact telephone number, and email address; if necessary, the delivery address.

6.2 If the information provided by the customer is inaccurate or incomplete, the Estonian Maritime Museum will be unable to fulfill the order for the product. The Estonian Maritime Museum will contact the customer regarding the order.

6.3 When placing an order, the customer agrees to the terms of use specified by the Estonian Maritime Museum e-shop.
