The soul and leader of the Antarctic sea voyage Tiit and Maris, the pilot of the sailing ship Admiral Bellingshausen, have written a book about longing, love and icy Antarctica.

Tiit tells of the harsh expeditions and polar exploration of Antarctica – from Admiral Bellingshausen, Captain Cook to Scott and Amundsen. Maris’ diary describes the daily life of the expedition at sea.

Maris’ logbook is the first summary of a sea expedition from an Estonian female sailor. These are captivating and honest stories about a small crew trip on a small ship.
